DIRECT ENGINEERING was established in 1997 and with our commitment to supplying bespoke material handling equipment and to ensure we continue to offer our customers the best possible service we modified our manufacturing facility to incorporate The Manufacture of Bulk Storage Silos For The Food, Plastic, Agricultural and Chemical Industries.
Within our recently extended manufacturing facility in Chesterfield we now have increased capacity to manufacture Bulk Storage Silos up to 100 tonnes, these can range up to 20 metres in height with a diameter of 4.5 metres and are manufactured from a range of materials including Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel, commonly used in various industries throughout the UK and Europe such as:

We also offer full turnkey solutions from design and manufacture to installation giving you the peace of mind and reassurance that your project is in GOOD HANDS.
Silo Design - As part of any design for new silos, Direct will always comply with the latest Constructional Product Regulation, this gives the customer full assurance that the silos, pipework, gantries and ladders all have traceability and conform to obligatory structural requirements and are in line with our CE approval BSEN 1090 Exc Class 2.
Silo Manufacture - All silos are manufactured on site at our newly extended facility in Chesterfield by our team of highly skilled welder/fabricators with over 35+ years of experience qualified to ASME 1X and BSEN 9006.
Silo Installation - Direct will provide full silo transportation and installation services for new silos. Before any work is under taken a full and detailed site survey will be carried out, all installations are always carried out by adopting safe working practices following the Safe Contractor Guidelines.
