Main responsibilities
Due to our continued growth within our marketplace Boy Ltd (part of the Hi Class Machinery Group) are looking for a field service engineer to join our friendly and hardworking team, ideally based in the Northamptonshire area but not essential.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for;
- The service and maintenance of Injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment
- Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and commissioning of new machinery
- Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
- Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and us.
- Complete job activity clearly and ensure all further requirements by the customer are documented.
- Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard
- Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service
- Extensive travel throughout the UK and Eire
Qualifications/experience required
As a Field Service Engineer you will need to demonstrate;
- Relevant technical qualifications (Ideal but not essential as full training will be provided)
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
- The ability to work independently and under pressure
- The ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Understanding customer needs
- Knowledge of the injection moulding Process
