Main responsibilities

A fantastic opportunity for a Plastic Fabricator to join our growing family business based in the Wolverhampton area of West Midlands. The company mass produces products from acrylic and other plastics including recyclable for displays and exhibitions on an individual customised basis. The candidate will require basic understanding of fabrication, working to accurate dimensions, have an eye for detail. You will be required to use, maintain and clean machinery such as hot wire formers, bonding jigs, table routers etc. Skills and Experience 1. Knowledge or experience of Thermo Forming, gluing, flame polishing and packaging 2. Experience of using hand tools and industrial machinery 3. To understand (read) and interpret basic drawings 4. Ability to utilise and understand measuring devices 5. Knowledge of various plastic materials 6. Work as part of a team and unsupervised in a safe and trustworthy manner 7. Working efficiently to deadlines 8. Adhere to company safe working practices at all times, where PPE where appropriate 9. To co-operate with supervisors and management at all times 10. To carry out your daily tasks as promptly and efficiently as possible 11. To maintain a healthy and safe workplace 2 Years’ Experience Preferred Work remotely: No COVID -19 Precautions: • Social Distancing guidelines in place • Sanitisation, disinfection or cleaning procedures in place Work Pattern 39.5 hours per week: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm Friday - 8am -1:30pm Benefits: On-site Parking
