Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an Injection Moulding Setter to join their established team.

Role responsibilities
- As the injection moulding setter, you will set up injection moulding machines according to production schedules.
- You will ensure that all tool changes meet the deadlines to enable production to run efficiently.
- You will be able to continually demonstrate an attention to detail and take responsibility for the reduction of scrap production when setting up machines and through the machine cycle.
- You will be expected to maintain a high level of organisational skills and timekeeping while working to tight deadlines.
- Be able to accurately demonstrate your ability to gather and record information required in relation to setting activities
- Notify line manager within the specified timescales of any difficult changes that may arise from setter and tool changes
- Maintain written records of all setting figures for each job that is set up, this includes changes while job is running.
- Accurately follow instructions via, written, visual and verbal media.
- An ability to work unsupervised and supervise other team members whilst maintaining agreed quality standards.

Qualifications/experience required
- Industry recognised injection moulding qualifications
- Previous experience in an injection moulding environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on part quality.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a pressurised environment and meet deadlines.
- Can-do attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changes
