Job overview

  • This is primarily a field-based role, combined with some home working and occasional visits to the office.
  • The role will include new client initial interactions as well as the development of existing accounts.
  • General promotion of the brand
  • Reporting direct to the General Manager
  • On successful completion of probation period - the candidate is expected to move into a sales role with autonomy in a given area.

Established for 75 years, Negri Bossi is a leading supplier of injection moulding machines in the UK and an ultra-reliable partner capable of satisfying all our customers' needs. Our machine range is from 50 tonnes to 7000 tonnes.

Role responsibilities

The appointment requires the candidate to be well-presented, self-confident, motivated and results-driven. An outgoing nature with an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written is essential.

This role would be ideal for someone who has spent time in the plastics industry and is now looking to move out of the production environment and further define their career path.  

This position would suit an individual with a passion for new business, a door-opener who is comfortable generating appointments by phone and conducting sales meetings both remotely, and face to face.

As such a full database, Sales and product training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Benefits/package

OTE £46K uncapped. Basic salary between 32-36K* plus sales commission. Package includes company vehicle/car, pension scheme & private health. *Based on experience & qualifications.

Qualifications/experience required

  • Sound knowledge of the injection moulding process. Suitable backgrounds would include process engineers, toolmakers, service engineers and material technicians.
  • Preferably 3 to 5 years’ experience in injection moulding in a technical or medical environment
  • Ideally C&G/ONC/HNC/good NVQs in related disciplines.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
