With a comprehensive range of one, two and four shaft shredders in our fleet, we can make even the unshreddable, shreddable.
Our machines engineered specifically for the plastics industry include:
- A compact RS30/40 four shaft shredder, which makes light work of materials such as plastic film and PET bottles.
- A heavier duty four shaft RS60/11 - a mid-range machine capable of handling bulkier and/or higher volumes of plastic wastes.
- The ultra-heavy duty RS150 - the perfect four shaft shredder to process oversized plastic wastes including car bumpers, large drums and uPVC window frames.
- The single shaft LRK - a high-throughput, easy maintenance plastic shredder, which is compact but powerful and great for cos-effective recycling and volume reduction.

DEVELOPMENT FACILITIES
All of our machines are manufactured at UNTHA’s global HQ in Salzburg, Austria. Our state-of-the-art facility combines progressive engineering with a rich, 50-year shredding heritage. Customers are invited to visit this innovation hub themselves, to meet our team, explore our R&D centre, and watch their shredder being manufactured.
Back in the UK, UNTHA UK’s North Yorkshire HQ is also home to some impressive facilities. Our shredder test centre allows organisations to trial our machines using their own materials – the perfect ‘try before you buy’ experience.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION
A selection of new and used shredders are also kept in stock, and are available for sale and immediate dispatch. UNTHA UK also invested £600,000 in spare and wear parts stock, during 2020, to ensure that whatever happened with Brexit, customers can benefit from the same seamless supply of machine components, when they need them most.
