Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer of automotive components, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

- As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing effective maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of injection moulding machines, associated robotics, automation equipment and site facilities
- The right candidate will be qualified to 18th edition standard with strong hydraulic & pneumatic troubleshooting skills, prior knowledge of injection moulding machine maintenance is highly desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Trained apprentices or formal qualified mechanical or electrical Graduate Engineers will also be considered
Role responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults that occur on the equipment and plant
- Ensure the equipment and plant are in good, safe working order
- Maintain a high standard of record keeping for repairs and servicing (use of internal computer system CORIM)
- Communicate, work and handover the progress on assigned tasks with members of the Maintenance Team
- Communicate with and work with leaders of the other departments
- Communicate and work with outsourced contractors to ensure equipment and machinery are safe and in good condition to use
- Ensures repairs are performed in a “right first time” mindset and followed until full completion and validation
- Follow 5S aspects around the workplace: maintenance workshop, machines and plant

Qualifications/experience required
- Qualified with BS7671 18th Edition City and Guild 2382
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise (Experience in Injection Moulding Maintenance is desired but not essential)
- Multi-skilled in Electrics, Hydraulics and Mechanics
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Electrics, Hydraulics and Mechanics
- Confident with reading and interpreting technical drawings (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical)
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong team working
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
