The successful candidate will be responsible for attending client visits and breakdowns directly from home, providing exceptional service and support.
This role requires a flexible approach, as there will be times when you will need to spend periods away from home.

Role responsibilities
- Breakdown Response: Quickly and effectively respond to machinery breakdowns, minimising valuable downtime for the client.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to maximise optimal performance of equipment.
- Installation and Commissioning: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and ancillary equipment.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of injection moulding equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and parts used.
- Travel: Be prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK and Eire and to stay overnight when required, delivering a timely and effective service.

Qualifications/experience required
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in the injection moulding industry preferred, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, & hydraulic systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality service and support, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel around the UK and Ireland as required.
- Time Management: Ability to manage your own schedule and workload efficiently.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a field service engineering role or site engineer looking for a change within the injection moulding industry or similar.
- A recognised formal qualification in electrical/engineering fields will be advantageous.
- Valid driving license is essential.
