- Candidates MUST HAVE several years’ experience within setting, conditioning and process optimisation of injection moulding machines and experience with a range of materials
Role responsibilities
- In the role of Injection Moulding Technician, you will be required to perform tool changes and support with tool change process improvements
- As Injection Moulding Technician you will be required to ensure that optimum cycle times are achieved and maintained
- Identify the implementation of process improvements within the factory
- Identify and solve processing problems
- Ensure all injection moulding equipment is operating efficiently
- Liaise with the works engineering department for all tool repairs and maintenance
- Ensure the correct Health & Safety and housekeeping levels are maintained
- Support the Technical Manager in maintaining good disciplines of housekeeping, scrap reduction and production efficiencies

Qualifications/experience required
- Previous experience within injection moulding manufacturing is ESSENTIAL
- Experience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environment
- Experience with Engel, Krauss Maffei or Toshiba injection moulding machines an advantage
- Basic level of Numeracy and Literacy is required
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
