Role responsibilities
- The successful injection moulding technician candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business
- As an injection moulding setter, it is your responsibility to ensure injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products
- To be able to work well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation team
- As an injection moulding setter, you will be required to carry out tool and material trials
- Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- To drive continuous improvements, ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
- To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
- Ensuring that key performance indicators on tool changing are achieved.
- To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.

Qualifications/experience required
- Injection moulding setting experience
- Recognised injection moulding qualification (preferable)
- Knowledge of materials such as PC, ABS, PA, PP, TPE, etc
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, crane, etc.)
- Self-motivated individual with a willingness to achieve KPI targets
