Job overview

DGsystems requires a Service Engineer for injection moulding machines, and the candidate is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical repair of high-precision injection moulding machinery. This role typically involves field-based travel to customer sites to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Role responsibilities

  • Technical Maintenance: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on plastic injection moulding machinery and auxiliary equipment.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Set up new machinery, including initial programming and start-up procedures at customer locations.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site or remote training and support to customer operators and technicians.
  • Ancillary Equipment Care: Service peripheral systems such as robots (e.g., 3/4/5/6 axis), dryers, temperature control units (TCUs), and conveying systems.
  • Documentation: Accurate completion of service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
