Working exclusively with our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an Injection Moulding Setter to join their team during an exciting period of sustained business growth.

Company overview

  • This position will suit an experienced Injection Moulding Setter who is looking to further develop their skillset and progress within the injection moulding industry
  • The successful Injection Moulding Setter will have extensive training & development opportunities including exposure to Sierra 57 onsite mould training programmes.

Role responsibilities

  • As Injection Moulding Setter you will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business
  • In the role of Injection Moulding Setter you will be required to ensure the continuous running of the machines at optimum cycle time to produce quality products
  • To be able to work well within the technical injection moulding setting, processing & optimisation team
  • To carry out tool and material trials
  • Basic machine maintenance and trouble shooting
  • To ensure injection moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products
  • To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to
  • To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
  • To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site

Qualifications/experience required

  • Previous experience within injection moulding manufacturing
  • Industry recognised injection moulding qualifications an advantage
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential
  • Ability to work to own initiative
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
