- Candidates must have extensive injection moulding machinery, process and maintenance experience
- This position will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Engineer with a strong machine maintenance background and the relevant electrical qualifications
Role responsibilities
- To install and commission RPM, injection moulding machines and automation at customer sites, ensuring appropriate commissioning in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Provide on-site technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues with injection moulding machines and automation.
- To maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports and equipment history, using our internal systems.
- The candidate must have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on injection moulding machines and automation.
- Be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of technical issues to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Must possess a willingness to travel the UK to meet both customer and company requirements, including occasional weekend working.
- To comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Where appropriate, support the development of documentation and training within the service team. Support cross-training of personnel, ensuring skills & knowledge gained through formal training are applied consistently.

Qualifications/experience required
- National Certificate/NVQ 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Time-served apprenticeship.
- Proven experience working with injection moulding machinery and ancillary equipment
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, both electrical and mechanical
- Must have experience of installation and commissioning of injection moulding machinery
- Experience of Polyurethane processing equipment an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and ABB robots would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Self-disciplined to manage own projects/jobs within the targeted time frame.
