Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer,

Seeking a Mouldshop Team Leader, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead the company’s busy manufacturing department. You will be required to take ownership of the day-to-day moulding operations, ensuring quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across the shop floor
The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience within an injection moulding or plastics manufacturing environment, with strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes, tooling & materials

Lead and manage the injection moulding team, ensuring targets for quality, output, and efficiency are consistently met
Oversee production scheduling, resource planning, and machine utilisation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve processes, and enhance productivity
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
Provide technical expertise in tooling, mould changes, material selection, and troubleshooting
Provide hands-on and technical expertise in process engineering
Develop, train, and mentor team members to achieve operational excellence
Work closely with other departments (Technical, Quality, Operations) to ensure smooth workflow

Proven leadership experience within an injection moulding or plastics manufacturing environment
Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes, tooling, and materials
Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to technical challenges
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and people management skills
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
