Role responsibilities
- In the role of Mould Technician / Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the Mould Shop and Packing Team, ensuring all team members work safely to execute their duties following agreed processes and instructions
- As Shift Manager, you will use defined documentation, set up production work orders across all moulding machines to adhere to the production schedule with a focus on quality, efficiency and a ‘right first time’ approach
- Hands-on approach performing tool changes and setting mould tools across all machines in a safe and controlled manner
- Monitoring the quality of production, reporting any quality concerns at the earliest opportunity
- Completion of quality and shift hand over documents as required
- To assign work in priority order to Mould Shop Setters & all Operatives on site, including the workflow through the Packing Team and the control of materials through the Support Staff.
- Taking the lead to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members

Qualifications/experience required
- Industry-recognised injection moulding qualifications
- Demonstrable mould setting and optimisation experience is essential
- Fully conversant with injection moulding processes and machinery
- Troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environment
