Working alongside an established plastic injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking to appoint Injection Moulding Setters to join a fast growing and forward-thinking team.

Role responsibilities
- The successful injection moulding technician candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the injection moulding areas of the business
- Carry out tool changes in a prompt and safe manner.
- Set-up machine operating parameters from scratch to process parts to specifications.
- Set up production moulds using established machine settings and setting sheets.
- Troubleshoot and process any issues when required.
- Record process specifications on setting sheets and PVT sheets.
- Purge the machine barrel of remaining material at the end of each order.
- Inspect sample parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Perform regular TPM on presses.

- To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
- To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
- Liaise with toolroom and Supervisor regarding any issues with aluminum moulds
- To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained with your own work area and demonstrate a duty of care to colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site.

Qualifications/experience required
· IMT Level 2 or Equivalent industry recognised training
· Demonstrable experience within injection mouldig manufacturing
· Experience with a wide range of materials
· Able to use measuring instruments such as verniers and scales.
· Use of handheld and stationary power tools
· Use of overhead crane, forklift and pallet truck an advantage but not essential
· Good verbal and written communication
