As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a proactive and organised Sales Office Team Leader to support our internal sales operations and our external sales team.
Role responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Team Support
- Collaborate with the external sales team to understand customer needs and provide high-quality support.
- Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assist with the development and execution of sales strategies.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, including their features, benefits, and applications, to effectively communicate with customers.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels to generate leads and prospects.
- Prepare and present price quotes, product information, and proposals to customers.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products to existing customers, maximising revenue.
Office Administration:
- Conduct sales office administration activities, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain records of sales orders, invoices, and customer communication.
- Maintain customer contracts for capital equipment
- Support a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work culture.
Customer Relations & Process Improvement:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer enquiries and issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-functional workflows.

Qualifications/experience required
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a sales support or office supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- A customer-focused approach with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing, technical sales, or extrusion/capital equipment markets.
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
