Role responsibilities
- In the role of Sales Manager you will further develop the introduction of specialist coupling products into the UK & Irish market across all market sectors
- As Sales Manager you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- The successful Sales Manager will manage and develop existing customer accounts
- Provide solutions that meet customer requirements in terms of application, performance, timescale and budget
- Take a collaborative approach with each prospect and customer enquiry
- Build strong business relationships based on technical understanding of customer projects
- Provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs
- Ensure all enquiries are accurately detailed so the quotation team understands the specific requirements of each customer
- Ensure reporting systems accurately reflect the status of all enquiries, opportunities and confirmed sales
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events

Qualifications/experience required
- Experience in the couplings industry preferred but technical sales experience in other sectors considered
- Technical understanding of fluidic coupling mechanics an advantage
- Demonstrable experience managing and growing customer accounts
- Experience following a structures sales process
- Experience using a CRM system to manage and track opportunities
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to influence, close and negotiate effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
