Established in 1996 Abbey Polymers specialise in the supply of flame-retardant polymers, soft polymers (TPE &TPU), sustainable and recycled polymers, along with specialist engineering compounds.  We offer support and guidance in the selection of our products to ensure your products needs are met.

Abbey Polymers distribute a large range of specialised polymers from our European partners :- VampTech S.p.A, Kraiburg GmbH, COIM S.p.A.

VampTech 

A privately owned compounder with a global footprint and a leader in the production of flame retardant custom tailored compounds for Engineering applications.  VampTech make a wide range of flame retardant compounds ranging from PP and working up through PA6, PA66, PPA, PBT, PC/ABS and many more, infact there are more than 4000 active formulations and over 100 UL listing for the materials they produce spanning many industry sectors.

Kraiburg 

As a global leader in the manufacture and production of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) compounds Kraiburg offer customised solutions for soft, elastic TPE.  Custom engineered with precision, their products conform to meet the specific needs of their customers applications be it Automotive interior or exterior, Medical, Toys, or Sporting goods.

COIM 

COIM is an international group leader in the production of TPU (thermoplastic urethanes).  Laripur TPU is widely used in the production of injection moulded and extruded componets for many industry sectors.  Laripur offers excellent versatility and outstanding mechanical properties and chemical resistance.

Recycled and Sustainable materials 

We offer a large range of quality recycled engineering materials produced from PIR (post-industrial recycled) feedstock.  These include PA6 30%GF, PA66 30%GF, PBT 30%GF, ASA, PC/ABS, PC, PC V0 (with yellow card), PMMA.  It is also possible to colourmatch many of these materials to match RAL & Pantone colours.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

Abbey Polymers are ISO9001 2015 registered company.  Our offices and large warehouse are based in Stafford so much of the stock we carry can be dispatched with a couple of days.  We're also pleased to be able to hold stock for customers to call off to be delivered as and when required.
