Earlier this month, I attended a seminar at JLR’s Castle Bromwich Site. The event was organised by the BPF and its aim was to shed some light on the current state of the UK automotive market and likely scenarios resulting from a range of Brexit outcomes.
Thursday 23rd of June 2016, the date where the residents of Britain voted to leave the EU, ultimately beginning the process of Brexit. After the public voted and the decision was made, a question had been raised by many; how will this affect the economy?
Despite the ongoing Brexit negotiations, Europe remains a key export market for many UK manufacturers.
With fluctuating demand continuing, economic uncertainty making major capital spend less appealing, Euroseal look at how systems houses could pick up the slack in their capacity without major investment.
It has not been long since Article 50 was triggered on 29th March 2017, however as a UK plastics manufacturing business, Pentagon Plastics are already starting to feel its effects when it comes to the purchasing of thermoplastic materials.
With Article 50 now activated (March 2017), Brexit isn’t something that may happen, it’s here and we now rely on the UK Government and economists to get the best deals for Britain.
